Social Media Research Administrator

Harvey McQueen are looking for a social media support person to join a well-established family run business based in Bolton BL7 area

It is office based here in Bolton, finish time is flexible for school pick up. Also potential Saturday 6am until 3pm if you want extra overtime (with half an hour unpaid lunch)

Job Specification - Social Media Support Administrator

  • Provide vital support and sales administration to our sales team across the UK
  • Search for and locate new incidents for the sales team to visit, using extensive research of social media including twitter and Facebook feeds, news feeds and media voice banks
  • Handle administration tasks as required including in depth internet research, creating letters, answering and making calls to ascertain further information about a particular lead
  • Provide an efficient point of bank up contact for our sales team
  • Verify sales leads as necessary when located
  • Advise and distribute sales leads efficiently and effectively via advice from the sales manager
  • Effectively manage and handle follow up leads with our sales team, ensuring maximum sales targets are reached
  • Work towards whole team sales targets and provide reports to management as required relating to lead conversion

Necessary attributes for a successful candidate:

  • Flexibility - We offer cover via various shift patterns in the team and winter hours differ from summer hours. We may require you to cover hours of other employees as and when is necessary which could mean a change in hours or days on occasion or overtime offered.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills - we are looking for someone who is competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) - experience of working on the internet is essential including Google Maps.
  • Experience of dealing with social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is essential, experience of working with social media is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be efficient and organised
  • Excellent telephone manner - you will be speaking to our sales team and external parties regularly
  • Willingness to learn with an optimistic and enthusiastic, friendly approach.
  • A desire to be helpful and enjoy working as part of a team.
