We are currently seeking a Deputy IT Services Manager to play a crucial role in the development, operation, and security of our IT services and infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the IT functions within our educational trust, serving schools across Norfolk, North Suffolk, and Peterborough.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Assist in managing the IT services and infrastructure for the trust and individual schools.
  • Provide high-level IT support within a Microsoft environment.
  • Support network operating systems, equipment, cabling, and infrastructure products.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot desktop computers, peripherals, and trust-wide WAN.
  • Regularly visit other schools within the trust to ensure cohesive IT services.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the IT department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
  • Practical experience in supporting network operating systems, equipment, cabling, and infrastructure.
  • Proven technical background in desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Enthusiasm for and understanding of the technologies required to run a trust-wide WAN.
  • Full driving licence for regular travel to other schools.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
