Always looking for innovative ways to enhance a presentation, Swindon based Corporate Events has come up with a new way of presenting visuals in pharmaceutical, fashion and other market sectors; Nicknamed Morpheus, he is a six foot white mannequin which, together with an adapted projector system known as projection mapping, can show any related parts of the body, muscles, skeleton, organs etc, as well as clothing, styles and faces.

Working with the in-house creative team at Corporate Events, a client can specify any number of illustrative “states” to be shown on Morpheus and they are then adapted to fit the body projection by the team. The show can then be controlled by the presenter as with any other slide show.

Marketing Director Tim Christian explained: “It’s been a really effective way to present an otherwise flat power point type presentation. It has been fantastic for clients in the pharma industry but we have also trialed other fields such as fashion which is proving a fun subject. It all helps to make a presentation more fun and more involving for the viewer.”

Corporate Events have been involved in creating 3D projection mapping now for some time. Usually when you think of video projection mapping the first thing that probably comes to mind is the mapping of buildings. However, using video mapping as a stage prop or a demonstration aid really adds dramatic effect to a presentation, and Morpheus the six foot mannequin illustrates this beautifully.
