This is a unique opportunity to deliver targeted interventions to students who struggle with reading, mental health, and behavioural challenges.

Job Title: SEMH/Cognition and Learning Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering tailored interventions to students with SEMH and cognitive learning needs.
  • Supporting students in developing their reading skills and mental health.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create effective learning plans.
  • Engaging with students to help them connect new information with existing knowledge, enhancing memory and retention.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN in a similar role or a transferable role.
  • Confidence and a proactive attitude towards supporting children with special needs.
  • Team Teach qualification is preferable.
  • Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
